Mystique Bask Farms

All of the Medicine Horses here at MB farms have special gifts and healing abilities.  They are therapy horses in a different sense than what most people are accustomed to. These special horses work through feelings and energies to help bring us back into a perfect energetic balance. Horses still have the their stong sense of instinct and through this, they are able to assess each others energies and help one another remain balanced and in turn, they are able to help us reach a balanced state, a calm and peacefulness within ourselves.

Hey Friends! My name is Mystique Bask, but you can call me Misty. I'm a 15 year old Arabian mare. In case you didnt notice, I'm kind of a big deal, the farm is named after me.  I know I'm pretty and everyone loves me. But try not to get the wrong impression, I'm not your stereotypical Arabian.  I love everyone and everything.  I have a special way of making people feel loved and safe.  There will always be a place in my heart for children and small creatures alike. I love meeting and getting to know new people.

Hi there! My name is Maverick but around here I'm known as Mav. I'm a 17.3 hand Percheron gelding.  I came to MB Farms on March 31st of this year (2012).  When I first came here I didnt know that those 2 legged beings could understand me and talk with me.  Through teachings of love and understanding I have come to know and enjoy what 'brushing' truly does for me as well as my 2 legged friends.  My world has opened up and I am able to give my gifts of healing to those who endure stress, anxiety, depression..  the list goes on, you name it.  Many people who have come to visit me have described me as a magnet, I have a special way of drawing people to me and taking away their fear.

Hello, Hello! My name is Pony Pal, but you can just call me Pony.  I'm a 11 year old large Paint Pony.  I came to Celina when I was 3 years old.  I was very timid and afraid people, I didnt let anyone past my head.  Even at the young age of 13 Celina was able to show me that she understood me.  After just a month and a half of being together we went to our first show, boy oh boy did I do great! There were helicopters and fair rides... I wasnt the least be scared! Although showing was great fun, I'd rather be surrounded by people coming to learn from me, so I can teach them how to better communicate with me and other horses.  I often go unnoticed when visitors come, I'm not like my 2 best friends, flashy Misty, or large impressive Mav... but rather I've got a quiet calm sense to me. I've discovered I have a special place in my heart for foster children and not everyone needs the healing gifts I have. I sit back and wait till I'm needed.

 Hi, I'm Xena, you can call me Xe (ze).  I'm a pretty Appaloosa mare and I came to MB Farms 2 summers ago.  I have always been quiet in my ways, and kept my healing gifts to myself.  Since beginning my journey at MB Farms my two legged family has noticed I like to work with people who have anxiety and separation, I guess you could say those are my gifts. I dont usually have a lot to say, but I know when I'm needed and I'm gentle and loving.
