What is a Medicine Horse?

Horses are in touch with their feelings, emotions and energies. Medicine horses are those who are able to consistently bring themselves back into a peaceful energetic balance.  Medicine horses are constantly assessing and feeling as new energies come into their surroundings and in turn bringing their herd mates and human friends back into a balanced state while rebalancing and regrounding themselves as the feelings and energies change. Medicine horses have an ability to maintain themselves in a happy, and healthy emotional balance.

What can a Medicine Horse do for you?

In our fast paced, technologically advanced world we are surrounded by energetic fields and stressful days. This leaves many of us feeling out of balance. We begin to feel out of control, anxiety, stress, depressed and numerous other things.  We develop unhealthy lifestyle habits to combat the unbalance we feel.  Through visiting with the medicine horses we are given an intimate experience as we can feel the horses work with us to bring us back into a balanced and grounded state.

Come visit us on our 50 acre picturesque farm located along the Grand River just outside of Brantford Ontario. We’ve got a wide array of animals from ducks, chickens, a rooster, a turkey and a medicine herd of 5 horses.  In a typical session, we don’t like to have a particular time limit, the horses will work with you for a period of 30 minutes to 2 hours. It depends on how much that particular being can handle. When we first near the horses we let them feel and adjust to the new energies. The horses will present themselves when they are ready to work with you. They will also show us who will begin the session.
